Pakistan Stock Exchange in decline; 100 index falls 419 points

Investor confidence weakened on the second day of the trading week at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the positive trend suddenly turned negative. At the end of the day, the 100 index closed at 167,642 points after falling 419 points.

During the trading session, the index touched a high of 169,289 points, while the low of the day was 167,445 points, reflecting significant pressure in the market. The index closed at 168,062 points yesterday.

Market analysts say investors are cautious due to government policies, global market trends and uncertainty in the financial sector.
