Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday gave a huge breakthrough in business activities, where investor confidence took the market to a new high. The 100 Index rose 1,202 points to close at 139,419 points.

During trading, the index also touched a level of 139,901 points, which is the highest level in recent times. More than 620 million shares were traded in the market today, with a total value of Rs 34 billion, which shows the strength of investment.

The market had closed at 138,217 points yesterday, but today’s rally has revived investor enthusiasm. According to experts, this trend may continue in the coming days, provided that economic policies remain positive.
