Islamabad: Convicted prisoners in various jails of the country were given relief after the President announced a reduction in the sentences of prisoners on Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the documents received, the sentences of 196 prisoners in Central Jail Lahore and 183 prisoners in Adiala Jail have been reduced. According to jail sources, 105 prisoners were released two days before the completion of their term after a reduction in sentence at Adiala Jail.
