Lahore: Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) Commemorated: A Tribute to the Visionary Saint on His 33rd Death Anniversary
The public Urs Mubarak honoring Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) began on January 23, 2025 and attracted thousands of people from Pakistan and overseas who visited his shrine in Lahore. Throughout three days people visit his Lahore shrine to demonstrate their respect and request his divine intercession while learning from the teachings he established during his time.
The Urs Mubarak represents a religious festival in which Quranic verses and naats and qawwalis and scholarly speeches showcase Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif’s achievements in Islamic thought and literary heritage. This upcoming anniversary year celebrates thirty-three years since Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) left this world on January 18, 1993.
