The high command of Pakistan’s Armed Forces gathered today to commemorate the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” delivering a stern message of deterrence while revealing new details of the military successes achieved during the conflict.

In a joint press briefing involving the DG ISPR, Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Projects), and Deputy Naval Chief, the leadership emphasized that Pakistan’s defensive capabilities have fundamentally altered the strategic balance in the region.

Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi, Deputy Chief of Air Staff Projects, provided a startling breakdown of the air engagement, describing the scoreline as “0-8” in favor of Pakistan. According to the Air Vice Marshal, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully downed eight Indian aircraft, including sophisticated platforms such as four Rafales, Su-30s, MiG-29s, and Mirage 2000s.

Additionally, a highly expensive Indian multi-role automated aerial system was destroyed. Ghazi highlighted the role of the PAF’s Cyber Force, which neutralized enemy communications, leaving Indian forces in a state of confusion that persists a year later.

The maritime front remained equally secure. The Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Operations noted that while the Indian Navy attempted to deploy its naval fleet multiple times during the conflict, Pakistan’s ports remained fully functional and coastal installations secure.

He stressed that the synergy between the three branches of the military was the guarantee of victory, warning that Pakistan’s desire for peace should never be mistaken for weakness.

DG ISPR Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry addressed the broader security landscape, linking “Ghazab-ul-Haq” to the national response against terrorism.

He issued a firm demand to the interim Afghan government to prevent the use of their soil against Pakistan, noting that various terrorist factions continue to find refuge across the border.

Addressing the Kashmir issue, the DG ISPR reaffirmed that the territory remains Pakistan’s “jugular vein” and that its future must be decided by the Kashmiri people through their right to self-determination.

He concluded by dismissing the notion of “Akhand Bharat” as a delusion, asserting that the Pakistan Army remains a force of the people, dedicated to defending the state against both conventional threats and foreign proxies.
