MOHSIN NAQVI NEWS

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, while giving a stern message to those spreading fake news while living abroad, said in an emergency press conference that people who consider themselves safe through false information are in a misunderstanding. According to him, the state will not back down from taking action against such elements.

He said that reports are coming out of giving protection to Afghan citizens living abroad illegally, which is against the principles of national security. The Interior Minister clarified that no province can run its own policy and the decisions of the federal government must be followed.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the SHO of each police station is being made directly responsible for making the expulsion of illegally residing Afghan citizens effective. As per the directive, the concerned police station will immediately expel the illegal persons present in its area.

He added that the role of Afghan citizens has come to the fore in recent security incidents, and the state’s top priority is to send back the illegal residents.

Reacting to the statement of Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Baradar, the Interior Minister said that citing history cannot hide the truth. He said that the Kabul government still has an opportunity to control terrorist groups and give a serious response to Pakistan’s concerns.
