Historic increase in Pakistan’s IT exports, the government’s practical role
Islamabad: Significant progress has been made in the Pakistani IT sector, where exports have registered a 23 percent increase. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif attributed the success to the facilitation and coordinated policies of the government. He informed us that in the first nine months of the current financial year, IT exports have reached $2.828 billion, which is an important milestone in the history of this sector.
The prime minister said the government was committed to developing the IT sector, increasing employment opportunities, and effectively introducing Pakistani expertise abroad. He added that vocational training projects are underway to impart technical skills to the youth and prepare them as per global standards.
