Pakistan LNG Price Hike: New Rates for SNGPL and SSGC

The prices of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Pakistan have been increased and new prices have been set for both major gas companies.

According to the official notification, the price of LNG on the system of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has been increased by $2.22 per MMBTU.

After this increase, the new price of LNG for Sui Northern has been set at $13.55 per MMBTU.

On the other hand, the price of LNG on the system of Sui Southern Gas Company has been increased by $2.26 per MMBTU.

Under the new prices, the price of LNG for Sui Southern has been set at $12.53 per MMBTU.

Experts say that due to price fluctuations in global energy markets, price changes are also being seen at the local level.
