Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the expected peace agreement between Iran and the United States could be finalized within the next 24 hours, raising hopes of stability in the region and the beginning of a new era of diplomatic relations.

In his statement on X, the Prime Minister said that the two countries are closer than ever to achieving a peace agreement. He said that preparations are underway for the electronic signatures of the agreement, after which technical-level negotiations will be held to finalize the practical details of the agreement.

Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the continued engagement and positive attitude of the US and Iran in the negotiation process, saying that both sides have made serious efforts to reduce differences through diplomacy.

The Prime Minister also thanked the countries of the region that provided support and cooperation during the negotiations. He said that the support of regional partners played a significant role in advancing the negotiation process.

If the deal is reached, it will be seen as a major diplomatic achievement on the global stage. The long-standing tension between Iran and the US has affected not only bilateral relations but also the overall situation in the Middle East.

According to observers, the proposed peace agreement could pave the way for improved economic cooperation, regional security and diplomatic ties. However, its success will depend on post-agreement negotiations and implementation of the agreed points.

Pakistan has long supported dialogue and diplomacy to resolve disputes. The Prime Minister’s recent statement is also being seen in the context of the same policy, which prioritizes peace and stability in the region.

In his message, Shehbaz Sharif expressed the hope that this historic development will be helpful in promoting lasting peace, mutual trust and regional cooperation. He said that a successful agreement could also pave the way for more positive diplomatic initiatives in the future.
