The Foreign Office says that the R-4 Group has become an important forum for mutual consultation and diplomatic cooperation in the past few years. Through this platform, the participating countries not only discuss common challenges but also explore new opportunities for cooperation in the economic, political and security sectors.

During the visit to Cairo, Ishaq Dar will hold a detailed meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdul Ati, in which discussions will be held on further expanding bilateral relations. According to the Foreign Office, the Foreign Minister will also meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The meetings are expected to review the possibilities of cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, energy, education and cultural ties. In addition, recent developments related to peace and stability in the region will also be an important part of the agenda.

The Foreign Office once again expressed its determination that Pakistan is keen to further strengthen its historical and brotherly relations with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. According to officials, the R-4 framework is playing an important role in promoting cooperation, diplomatic coordination and common development in the region.

Experts say that the Cairo meeting is taking place at a time when new diplomatic efforts are underway for peace and stability in the Middle East, so the outcomes of this meeting may prove important for the future political and diplomatic direction of the region.
