Ata Tarrar

Reacting to the recent statement of Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has clarified that Imran Khan’s children do not need any visa to come to Pakistan.

Attaullah Tarar said that Imran Khan’s children, being Pakistani citizens, can come to Pakistan at any time on their ‘NICOP’ cards, and they will not legally need a visa to enter the country. However, the federal minister also clarified that Imran Khan’s children will be bound to fully abide by all the prevailing laws of Pakistan during their stay.

It may be recalled that a day ago, Jemima Khan had made an emotional appeal to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the social networking website that her sons be allowed to meet their father (Imran Khan). This statement by the federal minister has come in the context of this appeal, in which he has clarified the technical and legal aspects.
