DUBAI: The match officials for the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 have been announced. Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires, while Joel Wilson will be the third umpire and Ranjan Madugalle the match referee.
The final match will be played between India and New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday. India beat Australia in the semi-final to reach the final, while New Zealand beat South Africa to reach the final.
The defending champions and hosts of the event, Pakistan, could not win any of their matches, which was a major setback for the tournament. Pakistan’s failure disappointed cricket fans, but the final match between India and New Zealand is expected to be very interesting.
