Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the nation has now started recognizing its well-wishers and results contrary to public opinion will not be accepted. He said that we do not want to go to Islamabad but the attitude of the rulers is forcing us.

In his address to the march, he said that Pakistan is economically weak, unemployment and inflation have made the lives of the people unbearable. The rulers talk about sacrifice but sacrifice is taken only from the people.

He further said that JUI has always been giving a message of peace and love. The peace marches in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are a link in this chain. According to him, the Jamiat is not just the voice of Pakistan but the entire Muslim Ummah.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while emphasizing the unity of the Muslim world, said that the gathering of Islamic countries in Qatar is welcome. He was of the view that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan should play a leading role so that wherever there is oppression of Muslims, it can be stopped. He supported the stance of the Palestinian people and said that just as they talk about one Palestine, we should also adopt the same stance.
