Lunar Eclipse Schedule for Pakistan

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has released the official schedule for the upcoming lunar eclipse, confirming that the event will be visible in various parts of the world.

According to the department, people in Eastern Europe, Asia, North and South America, the Pacific region, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic, and Australia will be able to witness the eclipse.

Official Pakistan Timings

As per Pakistan Standard Time:

  • Start: 1:44 PM
  • Maximum Eclipse: 4:34 PM
  • End: 7:23 PM

Astronomers explain that a lunar eclipse happens when the Earth’s shadow falls on the Moon. The event can last several hours and does not require special equipment for viewing.

Citizens are advised to follow official weather updates to know whether the eclipse will be clearly visible in their area.
