Concerns have been raised by former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail about Pakistan’s failed government system. He said that the country is having many problems, such as not being able to educate 20 million children. Ismail attacked the government’s recent move to get rid of 150,000 open jobs at an event in Lahore. He said that this showed how inefficient the country’s government was.

He also said that countries that are hit by terrorism can’t make economic progress. He said that investors like places like Bangladesh and India because they are relatively peaceful and stable.

Ismail also talked about how bad things are for the people of Pakistan and how high gas and power prices are making it hard for companies to grow. He said that 61% of taxes go to paying for energy and asked the government to lower these rates to help businesses grow. The statements of the previous finance minister make it clear that Pakistan needs to make changes right away to fix its economic and government problems.
