Pakistan has lodged a formal protest with the Afghan authorities over the violation of airspace by Afghanistan.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, a demarche has been issued to the Afghan side over the incident involving drones on September 23.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan has conveyed its concerns over the violation of airspace to the Afghan authorities. The demarche in this regard was conveyed to the Afghan side yesterday.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan has conveyed its diplomatic concerns to the Afghan authorities on the related issue.
This development has come at a time when contacts are ongoing between Pakistan and Afghanistan on border and security issues. The Foreign Office has registered Pakistan’s formal protest over the incident through a demarche.
