Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif completed a short but important visit to Qatar.
When Prime Minister’s arrival in Doha, he was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
Where he met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the Qatari people and termed the Israeli attacks on Doha unjustified. He clarified that Pakistan has always supported Qatar and will continue to stand by it in every difficult time.
According to the statement, the talks also discussed Israel’s attacks on various countries in the region and the security of the Middle East. The two leaders stressed joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
