Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange showed an upward shift, as its main 100 Index gained 594 more points in trading. On trading day’s conclusion, the 100 Index finished trading at 114,037 points.
The 100 Index went up and down by 1,085 points during regular business hours, hitting the lowest point at 113,234 points. In a full day’s trading, 67.54 million shares changed hands, and transactions worth 30.46 billion Pakistani Rupees were made.
The total market value of stocks jumped by 65 billion rupees to reach 14.067 trillion rupees. The market is growing well, showing that traders feel better about making investments.
