Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has issued special instructions regarding Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), saying that grand celebrations of the Prophet (PBUH) should be held in every district of the province.

The Chief Minister also announced to include the people of flood-affected areas in the festivities. She said, “Flood victims are our brothers, they are equally entitled to the joys of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).”

According to the instructions, sweets will be distributed among flood victims in all districts of Punjab, while Milad gatherings will be held in schools, colleges and universities, in which special prayers will be offered for the security of the country and the nation and the rehabilitation of the affected people.

The Punjab Chief Minister ordered that government buildings be decorated with lights and beautiful decorations, that the routes of processions be kept clean, and that the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) be highlighted in Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) gatherings.

Maryam Nawaz said, “By helping the flood victims, we will revive the good example of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), because he (peace be upon him) always taught the lesson of sacrifice, love and service.”

It should be remembered that the federal government has already announced that the 1500th year of the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) will be celebrated with great devotion and respect, and there will be celebrations nationwide under the Ashra Rahmat Lil-Aalameen (peace be upon him).

Tribute:
Undoubtedly, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the one who taught the world the lesson of peace, love and humanity. His life is the source of salvation for our world and the hereafter.
