PSX Sees Strong Recovery with 927-Point Surge After Two-Day Decline


Karachi – After two consecutive days of losses, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) bounced back strongly, with the 100 Index surging by 927 points to close at 111,351 points.

Trading volume on the PSX saw a notable increase of 30% compared to the previous day, and the market capitalization surged by Rs. 112 billion. During the course of the trading day, the index fluctuated within a range of 1,796 points, with the highest level reaching 112,043 points.

The total trading volume stood at 81 million shares, with a value of approximately Rs. 33 billion. The market capitalization rose to Rs. 14.126 trillion by the close of the session.

The strong recovery in the stock market reflects renewed investor confidence, highlighting the resilience of the PSX amid fluctuating market conditions.
