Sui Gas

To ensure that the spirit of Ramadan remains uninterrupted by utility woes, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has officially rolled out its “Ramadan Operational Plan.” Under the direct supervision of Managing Director Amir Tufail, the company has committed to a nearly 20-hour continuous supply window for domestic users.

The “Ramadan Window”: When Will You Have Gas?

In a move to accommodate the unique timings of the holy month, the Petroleum Division has instructed SNGPL to prioritize household needs. The supply schedule is as follows:

Official Timings: 03:00 AM — 10:30 PM (Daily)

This ensures that from the preparation of the first Sehri meal to the final cleanup after Iftar and dinner, gas pressure remains stable for kitchens across the network.

Inside the Strategy: “24/7 Situation Rooms”

During a high-level video conference with regional managers, MD Amir Tufail emphasized that “monitoring” is the keyword this year. To back this up, the company has implemented:

  • Virtual Command Centers: All regional offices will operate 24/7 Situation Rooms to track pressure drops in real-time.
  • Rapid Response Teams: Technical staff will be on standby to fix localized pipeline faults on an emergency basis.
  • Senior Oversight: Regional Managers are now personally accountable for any unscheduled outages in their respective zones.

A Message to Consumers

An SNGPL spokesperson stated that this specialized schedule is a response to the increased demand during the holy month. The company aims to eliminate the “cooking anxiety” often associated with gas shortages during peak Ramadan hours.

Pro-Tip for Consumers: To maintain safety, SNGPL advises checking all burners and valves before sleeping, as the gas supply remains active throughout the night until 10:30 PM.
