Petrol hiked by Rs 4.80, diesel by Rs 7.95; notification issued.

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 4.80 and high-speed diesel by Rs 7.95 per liter, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.

According to the notification, these new prices will come into effect from 12 midnight tonight. The decision to increase prices has been taken keeping in mind the impact of the global petroleum market boom.
