Karachi: Prices for gold and other valuable metals stayed unchanged on the local silver market on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, according to the most recent news. The rates show how the global economy is doing and how demand is changing in different parts of the world.
The price of 10 grams of gold (XAU) was PKR 238,635 and the price of an ounce was PKR 742,251. The fact that the yellow metal is always in demand shows that it is a safe investment when the economy is bad.
Other metals showed small changes:
- Palladium (XPD): PKR 83,901 per 10 grams, PKR 97,759 per tola, and PKR 260,967 per ounce, palladium is still the metal of choice for many industrial uses.
The price of platinum (XPT) is PKR 85,960 per 10 grams, PKR 100,158 per tola, and PKR 267,371 per ounce. Platinum is valuable in both jewelry and industry. - Silver (XAG): The less expensive valuable metal was set at PKR 2,655 for 10 grams, PKR 3,094 for a tola, and PKR 8,259 for an ounce. This made it a good choice for smaller buyers.
Market experts say that gold prices could change even more if global inflation trends, currency changes, and international events happen.
