Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the US is violating international laws and adopting an aggressive approach, which is no longer accepted worldwide.

While holding a press conference in Karachi, Hafiz Naeem claimed that the US kidnapped the President of Venezuela and his wife, which is a clear violation of international laws. He said that public reaction against former President Donald Trump himself is growing in the US, while Pakistan’s silence on the issue is worrying.

Addressing the Pakistani government, he said that being part of the American agenda is in no way in the country’s interest. According to Hafiz Naeem, history is a witness that policies based on external pressure always prove to be harmful.

Talking about the situation in Gaza, he said that despite the ceasefire, Israel is continuously committing violations, while the US is openly supporting it. He said that the US is directly involved in the massacre in Palestine, and despite the bad weather, Israel is obstructing relief activities.

According to political experts, this statement by Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman reflects the growing geopolitical tension in the region and public pressure on Pakistan’s foreign policy, on which the government will have to take a clear stand.
