US and Israeli attacks made the region unsafe: Iranian Foreign Minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the US and Israel of destabilizing and endangering the entire Middle East due to their attacks.

In an interview with an American TV channel, Abbas Araghchi said that after the completion of three rounds of talks between Iran and the US, US officials themselves had admitted that significant progress had been made in the talks.

He said that despite this, the US attack was carried out, which severely damaged the negotiation process and further increased tensions in the region.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that Iran has not started a war against anyone, but is facing an imposed war.

He clarified that all measures taken by Iran are only defensive in nature and Iran is taking actions to protect its territory and people.

Abbas Araqchi said that Iran is facing illegal aggression and every country has the right to defend itself under international law.

He added that due to the actions of the US and Israel, oil production and its transportation are also being affected, which may also have an impact on the global energy market.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that if tensions in the region are not reduced, its effects will not be limited to the Middle East but will also be felt globally.

He urged the international community to take serious steps for peace and stability in the region and create conditions that can promote negotiations and diplomacy.
