Quetta: President Asif Ali Zardari, while chairing a meeting on law and order in Quetta, said that terrorist elements would be defeated at all costs and the anti-terrorism wing would be provided with modern weapons. He said the terrorists want to divide the nation, but the state will remain and this war will be won.
Describing the development and lasting peace of Balochistan as his priority, the President said that he wants to see every child in school, and the need of the hour is to be exposed to modern technology. The meeting was attended by Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, acting Balochistan Governor Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, and other senior officials.
