Rain in different parts of the country, new monsoon system to enter Sindh and Balochistan from August 27

Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has predicted that rain will continue in the upper and central regions of the country from today to August 27. During this time, heavy rain may occur in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Swat and Chitral and other areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, Sindh and Balochistan will also be gripped by rains from August 27 to 29. Light rain and drizzle are expected in Karachi, while a new monsoon system will affect the city from August 27.

It was further informed that strong winds and thundershowers are likely in Mithi, Tharparkar, Umerkot and Mirpurkhas from this evening or night. Rain is also expected in some places in the northern areas, especially Gilgit-Baltistan.
