Weekly positive trend in Pakistan Stock Exchange, market value increased to Rs 17,735 billion

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a clear improvement in business activities during the current week. Due to investor interest, the 100 index recorded an increase of 3,001 points and the index closed at 149,493.

Throughout the week, the index remained in a band of 4,858 points, with a high of 151,261 and a low of 146,403 points.

During this period, 3.95 billion shares were traded in the stock market, worth Rs 224 billion. Thanks to the increasing investment trend, the market capitalization also increased by Rs 266 billion to reach Rs 17,735 billion.
