Pakistan Cricket Board’s big decision: Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed become part of the national selection committee

The Pakistan Cricket Board has taken a big step to improve the performance of the national team and make the selection process more transparent by appointing former captains Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed as members of the selection committee.

This decision has come at a time when renowned umpire Aleem Dar recently resigned from the selection committee, after which the services of these two experienced cricketers have been sought to fill the gap created in the committee.

Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed are among the most respected and successful captains of Pakistan, who have had a brilliant cricketing career, and their inclusion will further enhance the element of technical expertise and experience in the selection process.

With this new appointment, the National Selection Committee now consists of four members, with Aqib Javed and Asad Shafiq already serving as senior selectors. The Pakistan Cricket Board is confident that the presence of these two former captains will help in bringing out talented players and maintaining the team’s winning streak.

Misbah-ul-Haq’s strategy and Sarfaraz Ahmed’s vast experience in modern cricket will provide a new dimension to the Selection Committee, which is expected to bring more maturity in team selection in the future.
