Islamabad: Leader of PTI Shibli Faraz said the government would get credit even if discussions go well. Speaking with Geo News, he said, “The administration would also be blamed should the negotiations fail. Political stability falls to the government’s duty.”

Emphasizing the need for honesty, Faraz underlined, “Good faith is the first crucial aspect. We had rather realistic expectations. These discussions sought to bring political unrest in the nation under control, but the government’s dishonesty is now a main obstacle.”

Former PTI Central Secretary of Information Sheikh Waqas Akram criticized the administration for its shortcomings before. “How can a nation develop when 1.8 million people flee it in a year? On the international scene, we are fast turning into a laughingstock.

Declaring, “Those who stole the public mandate and formed a government through manipulated Form 47 are the ones avoiding negotiations,” he further charged the government of hypocrisy. The government’s stance toward negotiations has been dishonest from the start.”

While pointing accusations at the government for its lack of seriousness in handling the problem, PTI leaders keep underscoring the necessity of real efforts to solve political unrest.
