The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, under which petrol has been reduced by Rs 7.6 and high-speed diesel by Rs 3.71 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 362 per litre, which was earlier Rs 369.6.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced from Rs 387.81 to Rs 387.81 per litre. Earlier, diesel was being sold at Rs 391.52 per litre.
The new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from Thursday, November 5, 2026.
After the recent reduction, the prices of both petrol and diesel have come down, which is expected to provide some relief to vehicle owners and diesel-using sectors.
It should be noted that the government had also reduced the prices of petroleum products yesterday, while the new prices were determined under the daily price review.
