PTI Chairman Rejects PM’s Dialogue Offer, Calls for Formal Communication

Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar Khan, has stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent remarks on negotiations are an “internal discussion” within his cabinet and do not constitute a formal offer or communication with PTI. Barrister Gohar emphasized that no official procedure has been followed by the government to reach out to PTI, making it impossible to consider the PM’s offer.

He clarified that the Prime Minister’s statements are unrelated to PTI’s core demands, which include the release of prisoners and the formation of a commission to address their grievances. Barrister Gohar highlighted that despite a long list of charges against the government, including issues of mandate, PTI had only placed two key demands on the table for negotiations.

The PTI Chairman criticized the PM’s dialogue offer as irrelevant and disconnected from their demands, reiterating that no such informal proposal can be taken seriously.
