Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Attend World Governments Summit in UAE on Two-Day Visit

Islamabad— Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will officially visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for two days on February 10-11, 2025, to attend the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai. The important meeting will gather world leaders, decision-makers, and specialists to talk about important topics that will influence government and development in the future.

At the event, PM Sharif will give a main speech about Pakistan’s economic policies, digital changes, and government efforts to support lasting growth. The Prime Minister, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other top officials, will meet with leaders from the UAE and talk to global business leaders and CEOs of international companies to find ways to boost trade and investment.

This visit is PM Sharif’s second trip to the UAE, showing that Pakistan is focused on building a strong economic and military relationship with the Gulf country. The trip is expected to strengthen the strong connections between the two countries, based on trust, friendship, and teamwork. It will also create new opportunities to work together in important areas like the economy, trade, and technology.
