The enemy will retreat in a few hours; history will be a witness: President Zardari

Gujranwala: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantonment, where he was received by Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir. During the visit, the president appreciated the high morale and sacrifices of the officers and men.

President Zardari said, “History will be witness that the enemy was repelled in a few hours. The sacrifices of the martyrs are a source of national pride. He described “Maqsood-e-Haq” and “Operation Baniyan Mursous” as proof of the professionalism of the Pakistan Army.

“The armed forces have proved that Pakistan is a united, stable, and powerful state.
