Loans of 61 billion rupees issued in 90 days in Punjab, 57,913 new businesses set up

LAHORE – A meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reviewed the provision of loans under the “Easy Business Finance” and “Easy Business Card” schemes. The meeting was informed that loans worth Rs61 billion were issued to more than 107,000 people in the last 90 days, resulting in the establishment of 57,913 new businesses.

The meeting was further informed that 6,753 women received loans worth Rs 3.42 billion, while significant progress was also seen in the transportation, trading, agri-small business, and services sectors.
