Infiltration attempt on Pak-Afghan border failed; 8 terrorists killed

North Waziristan: Pakistani security forces foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing 8 terrorists and injuring 4 others.

According to the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), a group tried to cross the border in the Hasan Khel area of North Waziristan last night, which was foiled by the security forces in an effective operation.

Pakistan has been consistently demanding effective border management from the Afghan interim government and expects that the Afghan government will not allow the use of Afghan soil against Pakistani territory while fulfilling its obligations.
