The water problem will be solved through consultation, not politics. Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad: Adviser to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah has said that the water of a part of a province cannot be given to another province, as there is a clear constitutional system and laws in the country in this regard.

In his statement, he said that there should not be politics on a sensitive national issue like water, but all the units should resolve the issues through dialogue. He made it clear that the PML-N fully believes in the fair distribution of resources.

Rana Sanaullah further said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have instructed that all issues with the PPP should be resolved through dialogue. According to him, the PPP is part of the federation, and seriousness and caution are necessary when dealing with constitutional responsibilities.

He said that in the presence of the historic 1991 agreement and the ARSA Act, injustice to a province is not possible, and the strength of the federation is linked to the rights of the units.
