The federal government has revised the prices of petroleum products. The new prices have increased the cost of petrol, while the price has been reduced for diesel users.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2.2 per liter. After this increase, petrol will now be available for Rs 391.30 per liter.
On the contrary, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 3.59 per litre. The new price has been fixed at Rs 408.53 per litre.
These new prices will remain in force until September 28. Thus, the direction of petrol and diesel prices in the country has changed for a few days.
