Domestic gas connections restored across the country, PM Shehbaz Sharif’s big announcement

At a ceremony held in Islamabad regarding the restoration of domestic gas connections, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that today a big wait of the Pakistani people is over. The government has officially announced the opening of gas connections for domestic consumers across the country.

The Prime Minister said that when the PDM government came into existence in 2022, there was an energy crisis on one hand and numerous requests from the public on the other. Due to the unavailability of gas, we had to apologize for every request at that time, but now the situation is different.

He said that funds had been released for gas pipelines and infrastructure projects and the construction was also complete, the only shortage was in gas reserves due to which connections could not be given.

PM Shahbaz Sharif said that from today, RLNG connections are being issued across the country, which will open a new chapter in the provision of quality fuel to domestic consumers. According to him, millions of applications for new connections have already been received.

He said that it has been the tradition of the PML-N to solve the problems of the people through practical measures. In 2013, Nawaz Sharif, as soon as he assumed the prime ministership, brought the country out of the darkness of load shedding and today, under the same vision, it has been decided to restore gas.

The Prime Minister, while congratulating all the coalition parties in the coalition government, expressed special gratitude to the SNGPL team whose efforts made this goal possible.
