Federal Minister for Information Ata Tarar said that there is good news for the economy of Pakistan as economic stability is around the corner and talks for political stability is going on. Addressing the closing ceremony of the cricket league organized by the Jang Group in Islamabad he declared that February 8 shall be celebrated as ‘Day of Construction and Progress’.
Minister Tarar also pointed out that Pakistan sports arenas are on the way to get revive by hosting the champions trophy. He said this will be an opportunity to stage the world’s best teams in the country, giving enthusiasts a chance to watch quality cricket.
Besides, he congratulated the national team on great performance against the West Indies and highlighted the aspect of fair play. He also appreciated Mohsin Naqvi’s vigorous performance in representing Pakistan’s case for the Champions Trophy at the International Cricket Council (ICC), he said that better sportsmanship must prevail to end any sort of dispute and join the people in unity.
