Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan surpassed Rs 300,000 per tola for a second time when the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association recorded a new record high at Rs 303,000 per tola after prices increased by Rs 4,000 during a single day. Historical analysis shows this represents the second occasion when gold prices exceeded Rs 300,000 per tola, although the first peak occurred on February 7 at Rs 300,346 per tola.
