Today Mixed Trading Day at Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi: Today’s Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a blended trading day because stock prices surged to their peak since January 23. The benchmark PSX-100 index achieved a 400+ point increase at its peak before closing down by 50 points at 112,924.

The market showed a 50-point decrease, concluding the session to finish at 112,924 points. The daily index movement maintained an 815-point distance while reaching its lowest point at 112,621. The trading session showed high activity levels as investors traded 669.5 million shares, which produced total deal values exceeding PKR 27.9 billion. Market capitalization rose to PKR 13,955 billion after a PKR 9 billion increase during this period. Market trends remain under investor scrutiny because of current economic developments.
