Metro, Orange Line and bus service free in all cities of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz announces

The Punjab government has taken a big decision to provide relief to citizens from travel expenses and has made public transport free in all major cities.

According to the announcement, Lahore’s Orange Line train, Metro bus service, Speedo buses and Green Electric buses will be available without fare for a month.

This decision has come at a time when global economic pressure and an increase in fuel prices have increased public expenses. According to government sources, this move will provide financial relief to millions of passengers daily and promote the use of public transport instead of private vehicles.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the government is fully aware of the public problems, and all possible cooperation will be provided.
