Addressing the Gaza Rally in Islamabad, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman expressed complete solidarity with the Palestinian people. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami has always stood with the oppressed and is ready to make every possible sacrifice for the Palestinians.
Hafiz Naeem said in his speech that we pay tribute to the martyrs of Hamas, stand with the martyrs of Palestine, and silence in the face of the oppressor is tantamount to supporting oppression. He said that the eyes of the whole world are on Pakistan, so we should not accept pressure from any Western country.
He added that when lions rule the country, the entire nation will become lions. Pakistan is an ideological state and we should not compromise on our sovereignty and faith.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, while describing Israel as an illegitimate and usurping state, said that more than 20,000 innocent children have been martyred in Palestine. He said that Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque will be free soon, because oppression never lasts forever.
At the end of his speech, he said that we have to act with courage and boldness, correct our actions and continue to struggle for success in religion and the world. He said that raising our voice for the Palestinians is a requirement of humanity and this struggle is a sign of faith.
