Gold Hits Record High of Rs 274,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

Karachi: The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reports that gold prices in Pakistan today increased significantly, by Rs 1,400 per tola. The price of gold per tola now is Rs 274,000 after this climb.

Likewise, the cost of ten grams of gold has increased by Rs 1,200 to come at Rs 234,911.

Globally, gold prices also changed; they increased by $14 to reach $2,628 per ounce. The spike reflects both local and international patterns because gold remains a popular investment in view of worldwide economic uncertainty.

Given that gold is still a major item on Pakistan’s market, the increasing prices would probably affect purchasers as well as investors.
