Government policies are increasing poverty. Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Lahore: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that poverty and inflation are increasing rapidly in the country due to the wrong and unbalanced policies of the government. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of the Muttahida Action Committee Circular Road in Lahore.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that making millions of people unemployed in the name of the city’s beauty is unjust, and his party will not support any such move. He clarified that his party stands in complete solidarity with the business community.

He criticized the budget and said that every essential item has become expensive, due to which the purchasing power of the common man has completely disappeared.

The delegation told Maulana that the government intends to demolish 7,000 shops and 500 houses on Shah Alam Market and Circular Road, which will affect thousands of families. On this, Maulana announced full support for the demands of the committee.
