Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian has stressed the need for moral leadership in global politics, saying that power without responsibility leads the world to chaos and conflict.
In his statement released on X, the Iranian president said that Iran is a symbol of “moral and responsible power” while its opponents are demonstrating “irresponsible and uncontrolled power.”
He said that when politics is limited to power alone, the result is “chaos, oppression, injustice and unrest.”Masoud Peshkeshian added that “power without morality is meaningless” and stressed the importance of giving moral responsibility to global relations.
His statements came at a time when tensions are rising in the Middle East and diplomatic activities are underway globally.
According to analysts, Iran is trying to highlight its moral and political stance to defend its global position.
