Khawaja Asif’s categorical stance on opposition’s demand for resignation

Islamabad: Speaking to the media at the Parliament House, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that he is ready to resign if security issues can be solved with his resignation. The statement came after the opposition called the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express a serious security lapse and demanded the resignation of the interior minister, defense minister, and information minister. The opposition says the recent terrorist incidents show the failure of the security agencies.
