Minor change in prices of chicken and eggs in Punjab; relief for citizens maintained

The Punjab Food Department has issued a fresh price list in the provincial capital, Lahore, according to which the prices of chicken and eggs have remained stable with a slight decrease.

According to the data of the Market Committee Lahore, farm chicken is available at Rs 265 per kg and broiler live chicken at Rs 279 per kg.

Large live broilers are being sold at Rs 293 and large broiler meat at Rs 424 per kg.

Similarly, the wholesale price of eggs is Rs 9690 per carton, while eggs are available at Rs 327 per dozen.

According to market sources, no major increase in prices is expected this week, which is providing partial relief to the public.
