Now electricity bills will be delivered by postmen! Government assigns new responsibility to Pakistan Post

Lahore: A big change for electricity consumers! Now your electricity bills will reach you directly through Pakistan Post instead of private couriers. Taking this important decision, the government has announced the launch of this system from July 25.

According to sources, the aim of this move is to ensure timely and transparent delivery of electricity bills. Initially, this system will be implemented in specific areas, which will later be expanded across the country.

In all major cities,, including Lahore, LESCO and other electricity distribution companies will now avail the services of Pakistan Post for printing and delivery of bills. This move will reduce dependence on private courier companies while also making the government-owned Pakistan Post functional.

The government has requested of the public that if anyone does not receive their bill on time, they should approach the nearest post office and get informed about the new system.

Experts believe that this decision could prove to be a new lease of life for Pakistan Post, provided that the speed and quality of delivery are maintained.
